Planning & Production: Job Responsibilities
- Optimise production planning and control with up-to-date information on demand variation affecting raw material requirements, and ultimately affecting production planning.
- Notify customer service of anticipated delays before these delays impact customer satisfaction
- Planning & forecasting the future requirements of the project regarding 3M – Men, Material & Machine.
- Creating project plans, implementation schedules for projects.
- Planning & procuring the bill of materials based on strategic activities
- Handled the schedules, assets expenditures, cost expenditures, and physical resource provision.
- Provided necessary coordination to contractors and subcontractors.
- Produced monthly or weekly development report to the higher authority and the supporting staffs.
- Internal: Communication with various departments of the Sales, purchase, Pricing, factory Provisioning and Operations departments.
- Productions planning for fabrication & glazing the different project work that are one of the critical parts to fulfil the requirement of the client.
- Planning the production as per the technical and engineering designs of different projects.
- Monitoring fabrication and glazing work of different projects which is approximately measured SQM / Month as per International Review and standards.
- Deployment of manpower and over viewing the progress of fabrication of aluminum profiles, GI Sheet, ACP & MS & Glass glazing assigned for different project. Also, over viewing the safety of all deployed worker to avoid any kind of hazard / accident during fabrication and glazing work.
- Responsible for raising purchase requisition as per the Shop drawing, cutting list & MTO given by Design department.
- Also planning & controlling the deliveries of the different projects glasses as per the requirements in production as per the production plan / schedule by co-ordination with purchase team.
- Maintaining stock ledger for all different projects and providing periodical inventory report to the management / client for their internal review.
- Preparing and providing daily and weekly reports to Management like DPR, manpower deployment report, daily / weekly material inward and outward report.
- Coordination with Design, Purchase, Store as well as vendor for the timely completion of different projects on regular basis.
- Produce and monitor production analysis with KPI Dashboards regarding capacity, production line operations, work order flow, quality and costs
- Keep track of plant operations, shifts, resources and availability of specific skills with KPI Dashboards to improve efficiency and maximize quality
- Monitor production yield standards and performance variations and drill down to details with KPI Dashboards to analyse the root cause of the increase or decrease in yield.
- Monitor production results and ensure on-time delivery and appropriate inventory levels
- Monitor suppliers and parts requirements to decrease delays and shortages
- Follow trends in quality variations across products, shifts & yield
- Monitor variation in actual material costs vs. planned costs
